Dyer & Butler Capacity Improvement Programme

The new 5-car trains are now running on the network stopping at all 31 platforms across 17 stations that Dyer & Butler have completed over the last 18 months. Infocus Resources supported the Senior Project Manager and his team who have worked tirelessly to complete the design & build contract on time without any Lost-time incidents and have been commended for the professional and collaborative approach to delivering the scheme with everyone home safe every day.

The Project Team have been working virtually every night and every weekend for the past 52 weeks on site including Christmas Day. At the busiest, the project had 14 live operational sites and over 200 operatives. Infocus Resources are extremely proud to have been the majority supplier of multi-disciplined operatives for this project.

Infocus Resources works covered almost every railway discipline including new OLE masts, relocating signalling equipment, track monitoring, earthing and bonding, traction current bonding, relocation of E&P equipment including a package substation, HV cable moves, not to mention the good old civils elements which included precast-concrete platforms, a bespoke grundomat piled platform solution, a steel cantilevered solution to a brick viaduct, a new bridge incorporating a platform and the more traditional beam and block and solid platform construction.

LOCIP, platform extensions: We are delighted to have shown that we have the skills, passion, innovation and ability to provide the quality of labour resource required to support our clients in delivering this significant multi-disciplinary rail project (£16m LOCIP platform extensions). Enabling our clients to deliver on time without any lost-time incidents and winning commendation for the professional and collaborative approach to delivering the scheme with everyone home safe every day is a great feat. This is due to having a strong and experienced team and excellent operatives, well done everyone.
